Angelo Anthony Cataldi Jr. (born March 13, 1951) is a sports radio personality for 94.1 WIP in Philadelphia. Cataldi began his career as a sports journalist for ''The Philadelphia Inquirer''. In 1989, he began hosting The WIP Morning Show, which has become one of the most popular shows in Philadelphia radio history. ''Philadelphia Magazine'' describes Cataldi as having "done more than anyone to shape how we talk about — and even think about — sports" in Philadelphia. Anna Margherita Cataldi (14 November 1939 – 1 September 2021) was an Italian humanitarian, journalist, film producer, and author of several books. She is known for having been executive producer for the Academy Award-winning ''Out of Africa'', Goodwill Ambassador for the World Health Organization and one of the original United Nations Messengers of Peace, a position she retained between 1998 and 2006. Danilo Cataldi (born 6 August 1994) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Serie A club Lazio. Club career Cataldi was born in Rome to parents from Missanello, Southern Italy. Lee Cataldi (born 1942) is a contemporary Australian poet and linguist. Biography Cataldi was born in Sydney during World War II when, owing to her Italian heritage, she was technically an 'enemy alien'. As a child she lived in Hobart, moving back to Sydney for university. Cataldi has worked as a teacher and a linguist, on Indigenous Australian languages in Halls Creek, Alice Springs and Balgo. In the late sixties she travelled to Italy and England where she became a socialist, inspired by the May 1968 uprising in France. Cataldi's first book of poems, ''Invitation to a Marxist lesbian party'', was published in 1978, winning the Anne Elder Memorial Prize in that year. Marianna Cataldi (born April 7, 1976) an Italian singer-songwriter and composer. Life and career 1976–1993: Early life Marianna Cataldi was born and raised in Taranto, Italy. She started performing live on stage when she was only 4, singing children songs, folk Italian music and international pop. In 1980 she began studying piano and in 1983 she began writing her own songs. She studied at the Conservatory of Taranto "G. Paisiello" : music theory, piano, choral singing, and singing (under the guidance of voice teacher Giacomo Colafelice).
