Castelli is an Italian brand of sports clothing and accessories based in Fonzaso in Veneto. Castelli is a company specializing in cycling and triathlon clothing. Castelli brand products are characterized by a logo representing a white scorpion inside a red circle. History Gianni Vittore's workshop In 1876, Gianni Vittore opened a shop in Milan where he made clothes by hand for businessmen, for the Milanese ballet troupe and football teams such as Milan and Juventus. Alfredo Binda, winner of the Giro d'Italia several times, was one of his customers. Castelli ( Abruzzese: ') is a ''comune'' in the province of Teramo, Abruzzo, Italy, included in the Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park. The medieval hill town lies beneath Mount Camicia on the eastern side of the Gran Sasso Massif. Castelli is best known for its maiolicas, a form of decorative ceramic, which were collected by the nobility of Europe for centuries and which were at their pinnacle from the 16th through 18th century and are still produced today by local artists. Juan José Castelli, Chaco
Juan José Castelli (usually abbreviated to Castelli) is a town in the province of Chaco, Argentina. It is located 274 km from the provincial capital Resistencia and has about 27,000 inhabitants as per the . It is the head town of the General Güemes Department. Its population is mainly of Volga German descent. The area was originally populated by aboriginals of the Toba and Wichí tribes. Around 1910 a group of colonists from Salta, who had followed the course of the Bermejo River, established there. After the end of World War I, and especially due to the 1923 campaign encouraging the development of cotton crops in Chaco, European immigrants started to come. In 1928 Castelli was founded as an agricultural colony, 100 km north of Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña. In June 1931, 320 Volga German families arrived, even carrying furniture, tools and livestock. Villa Castelli is a ''comune'' in the province of Brindisi in Apulia, on the south-east Italy coast. It is a comune in Salento, the borderline with Itria Valley. Its main economic activities are tourism and the growing of olives and grapes. Main sights The main attractions are the Castle (or Ducal Palace) and the church of Immacolata. The castle was built by the Orsini del Balzo in the Middle Ages but was already in ruins in the 15th century. In the 17th century the Emperor bought it and turned it into a fortress, and later it was further expanded by the Ungaro. The church was built in the 10th century in an eclectic style, with both Gothic and Romanesque features. The countryside around is home to numerous prehistoric trulli. Villa Castelli Helicopter Collision
On 9 March 2015, two Eurocopter AS350 Écureuil helicopters collided mid-air near Villa Castelli, Argentina, killing all ten people on board both aircraft. The helicopters had just departed together from the same spot and collided during the initial climb-out. They were transporting production staff and guests for the French reality TV series ''Dropped'', and among the victims were French sailor Florence Arthaud, swimmer Camille Muffat and boxer Alexis Vastine. The so-called Roman Castles (''Castelli Romani'' in Italian) are a group of ''comunes'' in the Metropolitan City of Rome. They are located a short distance south-east of the city of Rome, at the feet of the Alban Hills, in the territory corresponding to the Old Latium. Trebbiano is an Italian wine grape, one of the most widely planted grape varieties in the world. It gives good yields, but tends to yield undistinguished wine. It can be fresh and fruity, but does not keep long.
