Cassandra (Cassie) Bujan (born 25 April 1996) is a Canadian volleyball player from Anola, Manitoba. She played five years at the University of Manitoba, and made her first appearance on Team Canada in the 2019 FISU Summer Universiade in Naples, Italy. She has since been on the Canadian women's national volleyball team for the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League and the 2021 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship The 2021 Women's NORCECA Volleyball Championship was the 27th edition of the tournament, and was played from 26 August to 31 August 2021 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Anola
Anola is an unincorporated community in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It is located east of Winnipeg and north of Steinbach in the Rural Municipality of Springfield. The community has a population of approximately 200 people. History The Anola area is part of the traditional territory of Anishnaabe and Swampy Cree First Nations. In 1870, the area became part of the new province of Manitoba. In 1871, the area was covered under Treaty 1 between the British Crown and the First Nations. The treaty facilitated the settlement of southern Manitoba including agricultural settlements in the Anola area. In 1907, when the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway expressed an interest in the district, the land was sold, and the village of Free Port was born. The name changed in 1912 to ''Anola''. 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League
The 2021 FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League was the third edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League, an annual women's international volleyball tournament. The 2021 version of VNL was scheduled to start earlier than the previous edition due to the 2020 Summer Olympics in July. The competition was held in between May and June 2021, and the final round took place in Rimini Fiera, Rimini, Italy. United States won their third title in the competition, outlasting Brazil in thrilling four sets on the final. Turkey grabbed the bronze medal after sweeping Japan in three sets.
