Cassandra (Red Dwarf)
"Cassandra" is the fourth episode of '' Red Dwarf VIII'' and the 48th in the series run. ''Red Dwarf'' is a British science fiction comedy franchise created by Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, which primarily consists of a television sitcom that aired on BBC Two between 1988 and 1999, and on Dave (TV channel), Dave since 2009, gaining a cult following. Edward Richard Morrison Bye (born 12 June 1955) is a British film and TV producer and director. He directed the episodes of the science-fiction sitcom ''Red Dwarf'' from Series I-IV and VII-VIII. Early life Ed Bye is the son of Royal Marine Colonel Francis Clifford Edward Bye, OBE, of Great Bedwyn, Wiltshire, and of Twickenham, Ed Bye attended Mount House School in the late 1960s, where he was known as a swimmer. Doug Naylor
Douglas Rodger Naylor (born 31 December 1955) is an English comedy writer, science fiction writer, director and television producer. Life and career Naylor was born in Manchester, Lancashire, England, and studied at Chetham's School of Music and the University of Liverpool. In the mid-1980s Naylor created and wrote two comedy sketch shows for BBC Radio 4 entitled ''Cliché'' and ''Son of Cliché'', as well as two sitcoms,''Wrinkles'' and ''Wally Who?'' for the same station. These shows were scripted by Naylor along with another writer, Rob Grant. Mac McDonald (born Terence McDonald; June 18, 1949) is an American actor. He is known for playing Captain Hollister on the BBC TV series ''Red Dwarf'' and frequently plays American characters in other British TV shows. ''Back in the Red'' is the opening three-part episode of series VIII of science fiction sit-com ''Red Dwarf''. Part 1 was first broadcast on the British television channel BBC2 on 18 February 1999 followed by Part 2 on 25 February and Part 3 on 4 March. "Krytie TV" is the fifth episode of '' Red Dwarf VIII'' and the 49th in the series run. Synopsis Lister gets a letter from Petersen containing some news: his guitar has been found in ''Starbug'' wreckage and is being sent on to him. However, Lister's happiness and Rimmer's despair are soon quashed as the guitar arrives without the strings due to the regulation preventing prisoners from possessing anything they can hang themselves with (which, for Rimmer, would be a very real consideration if Lister was playing his guitar). Lister also gets a letter notifying him that he has the right to appeal which, if successful, will apply to all other prisoners in his situation.
