Alexandra Caso
Alexandra Caso Sierra (born April 25, 1987) is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who competed for her native country at the Volleyball at the 2004 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece, wearing the number #6 jersey. There she ended up in eleventh place with the Dominican Republic women's national volleyball team, Dominican Republic women's national team. Caso played as a libero. Playing with the Dominican Republic U-18 National Team, she won the "Best Libero", and the silver medal at the NORCECA Girls Youth Continental Championship U-18, 2002 NORCECA Girls Youth Continental Championship U-18. José Luis Caso Cortines
José Luis Caso Cortines (Comillas April 15, 1933 – Irun December 11, 1997) was a Spanish politician, a victim of ETA. Biography José Luis Caso Cortines was born in Comillas in a large family. Even though he was born in Cantabria, he moved to the Basque Country at the age of 22 in the 50s. He was the founder of Alianza Popular in the Basque country in 1982. Later, he was President of the People's Party of Irun as well as Councillor there, where he was living. Jose Luis was retired and had been working as a councillor for the People's Party (PP) in Renteria ( Guipuzcoa) since 1995. The attack took place at the end of 1997. He also belonged to the Board of Directors of Guipuzcoa's PP and the Board of Directors of PP of the Basque Country. He was a married man with two children and a granddaughter. Pere Borrell del Caso (13 December 1835, in Puigcerdà – 16 May 1910, in Barcelona) was a Spanish painter, illustrator and engraver, known for his ''trompe-l'œil'' paintings; especially ''Escaping Criticism'' (1874). His father was a cabinetmaker who taught that craft to Borrell. It was by this means that he was able to support his studies at the School of Fine Arts. He also painted portraits, which made up the bulk of his work, and created religious murals in the Nazarene style in Barcelona, Girona and Castellar del Vallès. These, however, were all destroyed during the Spanish Civil War in the 1930s. He exhibited throughout Spain and at the 1878 Exposition Universelle. He was twice offered a professorship at the Escola de la Llotja, but preferred to teach at his own private art school. Luis Videgaray Caso (born August 10, 1968) is a Mexican politician who served as the Secretary of Foreign Affairs from 2017 to 2018. Previously he was the Secretary of Finance and Public Credit, also in the cabinet of Enrique Peña Nieto, from 2012 to 2016. Prior to Peña Nieto's victory in the elections, Videgaray was General Coordinator of his campaign for the 2012 Mexican presidential election. Alfonso Caso
Alfonso Caso y Andrade (February 1, 1896 in Mexico City – November 30, 1970 in Mexico City) was an archaeologist who made important contributions to pre-Columbian studies in his native Mexico. Caso believed that the systematic study of ancient Mexican civilizations was an important way to understand Mexican cultural roots. As a university student, he was part of a group of young intellectuals known as '' Los Siete Sabios de México'' ("The Seven Sages of Mexico") who founded Mexico City's "Society for Conferences and Concerts", which promoted cultural activity among the student population. One of the other Sages was Vicente Lombardo Toledano, who became Caso's brother-in-law after he married Lombardo's sister, writer María Lombardo: the couple had four children.
