"Casi Te Envidio" (''English: I Almost Envy You'') is a song by Puerto Rican salsa recording artist Andy Montañez, from his eleventh studio album, ''El Eterno Enamorado'' (1988). It was composed by Maestro Moncada, produced by Paco Cepero, and released as the lead single from the album on 16 July 1988. It was rerecorded with Puerto Rican recording artist Ivy Queen, in 2015 on her ninth studio album, ''Vendetta''. Rerecording In August 2012, Queen released her eighth studio album, ''Musa''. The album peaked at number fifteen on the ''Billboard'' Latin Albums chart and number two on the ''Billboard'' Latin Rhythm Albums chart. Andrés Montañez Rodríguez (born May 7, 1942), better known as Andy Montañez, is a Puerto Rican singer and songwriter. Early life Montañez is a native of the ''Tras Talleres'' area of Santurce, San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is known by the nicknames "El Godfather de la Salsa" and "El Niño De Trastalleres". Musical career Montañez first gained fame as a member of the internationally successful El Gran Combo group, with songs like "Hojas blancas" (White Leaves), "Un verano en N.Y." The 14th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. This was the sixth time that Latin Grammys has been held at this location. The main telecast was broadcast on Univision at 8:00 PM EST. The nominations were announced on September 25, 2013. Javier Garza, Illya Kuryaki and the Valderramas and Carlos Vives led the nominations with five nods each. Viva Puerto Rico Tour
The Viva Puerto Rico Tour was a tour performed by Puerto Rican recording artist Ivy Queen. In association with Score, Grande Entertainment, and Club Papi, the tour launched on January 28, 2014. The tour will include performances at various gay clubs in cities of the United States, such as New York, Orlando, Miami, Houston, Seattle, San Francisco, San Diego, Atlanta, Sacramento, and Los Angeles. Performances in Boston and Tampa have also been confirmed as well. A performance in Puerto Rico was not planned, however due to the tour's success, a performance in Ponce was announced.
