Casey Fien
Casey Michael Fien ( ; born October 21, 1983), is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers, Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, and Philadelphia Phillies. Career Fien attended John F. Kennedy High School in La Palma, California. For college, he attended William Penn University, Golden West College, and Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. At Cal Poly, he was roommates with fellow MLB pitcher Bud Norris. Detroit Tigers The Detroit Tigers selected Fien in the 20th round of the 2006 MLB draft. He was called up by the Tigers on July 24, 2009 from the Toledo Mud Hens to replace Eddie Bonine. Joel Zumaya
Joel Martin Zumaya (born November 9, 1984) is a former American professional baseball pitcher. He pitched in Major League Baseball for the Detroit Tigers from 2006 through 2010. Baseball career Zumaya was drafted out of Bonita Vista High School in the 11th round by the Tigers, the 320th overall selection of the 2002 MLB Draft. He was chosen because of his power arm, but it was not clear whether he would be able to develop adequate control of an off-speed pitch. Eddie Keith Bonine (born June 6, 1981) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Detroit Tigers from 2008–2010. College career Bonine was born in Columbus, Georgia but moved to Glendale, Arizona where he attended Mountain Ridge High School. After graduating he attended Glendale Community College 1999–2001. In his second year he was named to the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference's First Team. At Glendale, he attracted the attention of the Arizona Diamondbacks, who in 2001 drafted him in the 20th round, 608th pick overall.
