Casey Bromilow is an Australian professional rugby league football coach. He currently works for the Newcastle Knights and was the inaugural head coach of the NRL Women's Premiership side. The Tarsha Gale Cup is one of the main Women's rugby league elite aged group competitions in Australia. The New South Wales Rugby League announced the creation of a nine-a-side under-18s women's league for 2017 Named the Tarsha Gale Nines after the former Australian Jillaroos and NSW captain of the 1990s. However, since 2020, the tournament has been played as a full 13-a-side game, and is the main bridge between juniors and the NSWRL Women's Premiership in the state of New South Wales. The Newcastle Knights are a team that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership. Playing in red and blue, the Knights joined the top tier competition in 1988, 79 years after the previous Newcastle based team, the Newcastle Rebels had departed the Sydney competition with the formation of a separate league competition based in the Newcastle region. Ronald Griffiths is an Australian professional rugby league football coach who is the head coach of the Newcastle Knights NRL Women's Premiership team. Background Griffiths is of Indigenous Australian descent. He played junior rugby league for the Woodberry Warriors. Coaching career Early years In 2012, Griffiths coached the Maitland Pickers in the Newcastle Rugby League, as well as mentoring the under-16s New South Wales Koori side. In 2014, he coached the Greta-Branxton Colts as well as being a pathways coach with the New South Wales VB Cup representative side. In 2016, he became head coach at the Kurri Kurri Bulldogs. 2022 NRL Women's Season
The 2022 NRLW Premiership was the fifth professional season of Women's rugby league in Australia. The season started on Saturday, 20 August and ran for seven weekends. This comprised five rounds, semi-finals for the top four teams, and a Grand Final that was played on Sunday 2 October as a curtain raiser to the 2022 men's Grand Final. This was the last season before the NRLW goes professional. Teams The Line-up of teams will remain the same as the postponed 2021 season (held from February to April in 2022). The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. It is the Rugby Football League Championship Second Division, second-tier competition organised by the Rugby Football League, the governing body for the sport in England, and consists of 14 teams, with promotion to the Super League and relegation to the third-tier competition, RFL League 1, League One.
