The Yt antigen system (also known as Cartwright) is present on the cell membrane, membrane of red blood cells and helps determine a person's blood type. The antigens are found on the protein acetylcholinesterase, an enzyme which helps break down acetylcholine. The Yt system features two alleles, Yt(a) and Yt(b). Richard Cartwright "Cart" Carmichael (December 5, 1902December 12, 1960) was a college basketball player. He was the first member of the North Carolina Tar Heels to earn All-America honors in any sport, when he was named to the 1923 first team for men's basketball, an honor he also received in 1924. Carmichael could play all three positions: guard, forward, and center. He is the earliest UNC player with his jersey "honored" in the rafters. Carmichael was a member of the basketball team named 1922 and 1924 "Champions of the South" after winning the Southern Conference tournament at the Atlanta Municipal Auditorium. The 1924 team went undefeated and also had All-American Jack Cobb. The team was retrospectively awarded the 1924 national championship by the Helms Athletic Foundation some eleven years later. Cartwright Sound is a sound (geography), sound on the southwest coast of Graham Island in the Queen Charlotte Islands of the British Columbia Coast, North Coast of British Columbia, Canada. It was named by Captain George Vancouver in honour of John Cartwright (political reformer), John Cartwright, then serving in the Royal Navy under Admiral Howe and later a noted Reform movement, political and social reformer in Britain. The sound is located in the area of Kano Inlet, and lies between Tcenakum and Hunter Points. In the center is a tiny island called Marble Island. Listed by the BC Geographical Names Information System, the sound is entirely missing from Google Maps.
