Cartoon Sushi
''Cartoon Sushi'' is an adult-animation showcase program that aired on MTV from 1997 to 1998. It was developed by Eric Calderon and produced by Nick Litwinko, and was the successor to Liquid Television. The title screen opening was illustrated by ''Ed, Edd n Eddy'' creator Danny Antonucci. Each episode featured internationally produced cartoons, along with some original material created for the show. Danny Antonucci
Daniel Edward Antonucci (, ; born February 27, 1957) is a Canadian animator, director, producer, and writer. Antonucci is known for creating the Cartoon Network animated comedy series ''Ed, Edd n Eddy''. He also created ''Lupo the Butcher'', ''Cartoon Sushi'', and ''The Brothers Grunt''. Danny Antonucci dropped out of the Sheridan College of Visual Arts to take a job as an animator at Hanna-Barbera, where he worked on a number of series, including ''Fables of the Green Forest'', ''The Flintstone Comedy Show'', '' Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo'', ''The Smurfs'', and '' Richie Rich''. He continued his career in Vancouver, where he worked on animated shorts and television commercials for International Rocketship Limited, and created his first solo work, the animated short ''Lupo the Butcher''. ''Joe's Apartment'' is a 1996 American musical black comedy film written and directed by John Payson (in his feature directorial debut), based on his 1992 short film of the same name, and starring Jerry O'Connell and Megan Ward. The first MTV Films production, it was the only one not to involve Paramount Pictures (the 2019 film ''Eli'', which was distributed by Netflix, still had the involvement of Paramount). The main focus of the story is the fact that, unbeknownst to many humans, cockroaches can talk, but prefer not to, as humans "smush first and ask questions later". They also sing and even have their own public-access television cable TV channel. ''The Sandman'' is a 1991 stop-motion animation film, animated and directed by Paul Berry (1961–2001) and nominated for an Oscar for Best Animated Short Film in 1993. The storyline is inspired by the E.T.A. Hoffmann's version of the European legend of The Sandman. Plot Late on a moonlit evening, a young boy is sent up to bed by his mother. ''Time Squad'' is an American animated television series created by Dave Wasson for Cartoon Network and the 10th of the network's Cartoon Cartoons. It follows the adventures of Otto Osworth, Buck Tuddrussel, and the robot Larry 3000, a trio of hapless "time cops" living in the far distant future who travel back in time attempting to correct the course of history. During their adventures, they run into major historical figures such as Julius Caesar, Abraham Lincoln, Sigmund Freud, Leonardo da Vinci, the Founding Fathers, and Moctezuma, who have taken a drastically different course of life than history dictates. Dave Wasson
David Jerome Wasson (born September 11, 1968) is an American animator, storyboard artist, director, producer, writer, and voice actor. He graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a B.F.A. Wasson created the Cartoon Network original series ''Time Squad'', before going on to develop ''Star vs. the Forces of Evil'' on which he is also a director, writer, and executive producer, and directing and writing on the series '' Mickey Mouse Shorts''. ''Courage the Cowardly Dog'' is an American animated comedy horror television series created by John R. Dilworth for Cartoon Network and distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television. It was produced by Dilworth's animation studio, Stretch Films, and originally aired from 1999 to 2002. The title character is a dog who lives with an elderly couple in a farmhouse in the middle of "Nowhere". ''Untalkative Bunny'' is a co-produced animated series about a yellow anthropomorphic rabbit and its life in the big city (closely based on Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.). The show is aimed for kids 6-17. The series consists of small episodes (about 4–5 minutes long each) with a number up to four longer 'specials' in each season. Untalkative Bunny has been aired by Teletoon, as well as Disney Channel in many parts of the world, including the UK & France (excluding the US). Karacas (born March 8, 1975) is an American musician, animator, voice actor, director and writer, known for creating ''Superjail!'' and '' Ballmastrz: 9009'' for Adult Swim and directing the Cartoon Network series ''Robotomy''. Magnus Carlsson (illustrator)
Magnus Carlsson (born April 20, 1965) is a Swedish illustrator, director and animator. Biography Carlsson was born in Gothemburg, Västra Götaland, and is one of Sweden's best known and most active animators. He started animating professionally in 1988, and has since created a series of animated films and television series.
