Cartoon Network is a Turkish television channel that mainly broadcasts cartoons. It was launched on 28 January 2008 and is owned by Demirören Holding under license from Warner Bros. Discovery International. History The channel launched on 28 January 2008. On 4 April 2011, the channel rebranded with the CHECK IT 1.0 package. Around this time, it also began to play movie sponsorships for ''The Smurfs'' and ''Arthur Christmas''. On 1 January 2015, the channel rebranded itself with new graphics (Check It 3.0). One year later, on 6 October 2016, the channel switched from 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratio. On 1 January 2017, Cartoon Network started to use graphics from Cartoon Network USA's Dimensional 2016 rebrand package. ''New Looney Tunes'', originally titled ''Wabbit: A Looney Tunes Production'' in the US and ''Bugs!'' in some markets for its first season, is an American animated television series from Warner Bros. Animation based on the characters from ''Looney Tunes'' and ''Merrie Melodies''. The series debuted on September 21, 2015, on Cartoon Network, and continued with new episodes beginning on October 5, 2015, on Boomerang. Part way through the first season, new episodes would premiere on Boomerang's video on demand service before airing on television. On May 23, 2018, the Boomerang streaming service announced that ''New Looney Tunes'' would continue into 2019, with the third season being the show's last.
