Cartist Automobile Art Festival
Cartist Automobile Art Festival is an annual art festival held in Jaipur, the capital of Indian state Rajasthan. It is an initiative to promote Indian culture and art along with love for vintage cars. The basic idea of Cartist is to spread awareness among masses and classes regarding the importance of salvaging the epitome of royalty, vintage and classic cars. History The Cartist Automobile Art Festival was founded by Himanshu Jangid, a vintage car restorer in India and founder & CEO of United Restorations. 2015 First edition of festival commenced from 2015, 18 April the World Heritage Day. Renowned artist like Raghu Rai, Himmat Shah, Johny ML, Wajid Khan, and Shakir Ali interacted with the young artists during workshop, which covered Miniature Art, basics of Photography and natural color making. An art car is a vehicle that has had its appearance modified as an act of personal artistic expression. Art cars are often driven and owned by their creators, who are sometimes referred to as "Cartists". Most car artists are ordinary people with no artistic training. Artists are largely self-taught and self funded, though some mainstream trained artists have also worked in the art car medium. Vasundhara Raje
Vasundhara Raje Scindia (born 8 March 1953) is an Indian politician, who has held two terms as the chief minister of Rajasthan. She was previously a minister in the Union Cabinet of Atal Bihari Vajpayee and was India's first Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. Miniature Art
Miniature art includes paintings, engravings and sculptures that are very small; it has a long history that dates back to prehistory. The portrait miniature is the most common form in recent centuries, and from ancient times, engraved gems, often used as impression seals, and cylinder seals in various materials were very important. Shakir Ali (Urdu: شاکر على (1975–1916) was an influential modern Pakistani artist and an art teacher. He was the principal of the National College of Arts in Lahore.
