"Carry You" is a song performed by Australian singer-songwriter Missy Higgins and written by Tim Minchin, released on 24 January 2020. The song was recorded and used in the credits of the final episode of Australian drama, '' Upright''. Speaking about the song, Minchin said "I've adored Missy's voice for so long, the fact that she agreed to sing this song, which means so much to me, is an incredible thrill." Higgins said "I hadn't seen ''Upright'' before Tim asked me if I wanted to record a song for it, but I was a big fan of Tim's work so I knew it would be good. When he played me 'Carry You' on the piano I instantly felt how beautiful and universal it was and how I might make it my own. ''Upright'' follows the story of Lucky and Meg, who are trying to get an upright piano across the country. Music from the Home Front was a concert held across Australia and New Zealand on 25 April 2020, to pay tribute to the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps and workers at the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic response. The concert was broadcast live on television by the Nine Network in Australia, Channel Three in New Zealand and YouTube internationally and run for 3 ½ hours. The APRA Music Awards of 2021 are the 39th annual series, known as APRA Awards.
