Cassetteboy
Cassetteboy are an English electronic music and comedy duo. The pair have achieved success with their cut-ups of celebrities such as Alan Sugar and David Cameron to make parodies of their subjects. Several of the duo's videos have gone viral, with 50 millions views on their own YouTube alone. Despite their success, Cassetteboy made no money from their videos due to their questionable legal status, until a revision of UK copyright law in 2014. Career Members Cassetteboy is a duo of Mark Bolton and Steve Warlin, though the pair prefer to remain anonymous. Bolton has worked writing audio descriptions for the blind, while Warlin has worked in various Irish pubs and in an art gallery. The duo's name comes from the use of audio cassette in their early work. Their musical approach can be traced from the origins of sampling, musique concrète and Plunderphonics. Most pieces are constructed from numerous audio and video snippets taken from TV, radio, film and popular music; The Par ...

Mick's Tape
''Mick's Tape'' is an album from UK group Cassetteboy. Overview The album contains some mashup work by Cassetteboy, but also samples other tracks by various artists. Tracks by other artists include Squarepusher's "The Exploding Psychology", "Good Morning! How are you? Shut up!" by Ivor Cutler and "I Hear Voices" by MF Doom. Nearly all tracks not by Cassetteboy have been altered in some way, with the exception of "The Exploding Psychology". Several of the titles of the tracks allude to their contents, such as "Sirdy Bong", which is a Drum n' Bass remix of the "Birdy Song", and "The Formby Goes Out The Window" which samples George Formby's rendition of "Banjo Boy". Critical reception BBC Music called the album a "generally entertaining and pretty risqué listening experience". '' The Independent'' wrote: "Thanks, then, to Cassetteboy for restoring the mix-tape to its more entertaining, inventive origins in hip-hop patchworks like ''Paul's Boutique'' and ''3 Feet High and R ...

The Simpsons
''The Simpsons'' is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening for the Fox Broadcasting Company. The series is a satirical depiction of American life, epitomized by the Simpson family, which consists of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. The show is set in the fictional town of Springfield and parodies American culture and society, television, and the human condition. The family was conceived by Groening shortly before a solicitation for a series of animated shorts with producer James L. Brooks. He created a dysfunctional family and named the characters after his own family members, substituting Bart for his own name; he thought Simpson was a funny name in that it sounded similar to " simpleton". The shorts became a part of '' The Tracey Ullman Show'' on April 19, 1987. After three seasons, the sketch was developed into a half-hour prime time show and became Fox's first series to land in the Top 30 ratings in a season (1989–1990). Since its debut on Dece ...
