Carry Lab
is a defunct Japanese software house. Thanks to the efforts of entrepreneur and computer engineer Yoichiro Hirano, the company evolved from the "MyCon Club" into a real business in 1981. As Carry Lab, the company developed popular word processing software and computer and video games. They also ported popular Taito titles such as ''Chack'n Pop'' to Japanese computers. Taito Corporation
is a Japanese company that specializes in video games, toys, arcade cabinets and game centers, based in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Chack'n Pop
is an Platform game, platform arcade game developed and released by Taito in 1984. In the game, the player controls a small yellow creature, Chack'n, with the objective being to retrieve hearts from a cave, all while avoiding the enemies contained within them. Chack'n also has the ability to deploy bombs, which can kill said enemies, which can bring bonuses depending on if the all or none of the enemies have been killed. It is considered to be a spiritual predecessor of ''Bubble Bobble'' due to the shared characters and similar game structure. Home ports were released for the SG-1000, MSX, Nintendo Entertainment System, Family Computer, Sharp X1, NEC PC-6001 and NEC PC-8801. TAXAN was a brand of Kaga Electronics Co. Ltd, Tokyo, Japan. It was founded in July 1981. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, the US division published several video games on the NES and Game Boy. Famicom Disk System
The commonly shortened to the Famicom Disk System or just Disk System, is a peripheral for Nintendo's Nintendo Entertainment System, Family Computer home video game console, released only in Japan on February 21, 1986.
