Carrington Love (born January 6, 1994) is an American professional basketball player who last played for British Basketball League (BBL) club Leicester Riders. Love played college basketball for Green Bay from 2012 until 2016. Professional career On August 16, 2016, Love signed with Kirchheim Knights of the German second division ProA. Love reached the semi-finals of the promotion play-offs with Kirchheim, where the team was defeated 3–0 by top seeded Mitteldeutscher BC. On July 27, 2017, Love was announced by ZZ Leiden of the Dutch Basketball League (DBL). On April 20, 2018, Love was named to the DBL All-Defense Team. On April 23, Love received a place in the All-DBL Team. He finished second in MVP voting, behind winner Brandyn Curry. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. Desure Buie (born February 21, 1997) is an American professional basketball player for the MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg of the Basketball Bundesliga and the Basketball Champions League (BCL). He played college basketball for Hofstra. Early life and high school career Buie attended Wings Academy in Bronx, New York. As a senior, he averaged 17.1 points per game and led New York City in assists. Buie was a New York State Class AA First Team selection and a Daily News and MSG Varsity First Team All-New York City honoree, and he led Wings to the New York City Public Schools Athletic League (PSAL) and State Federation championship. 2019–20 Dutch Basketball League
The 2019–20 Dutch Basketball League (DBL) was the 60th season of the Dutch Basketball League, the highest professional basketball league in the Netherlands. The regular season started on 28 September. On 12 March 2020, the season was postponed until 31 March because of the COVID-19 pandemic. On 14 March, the DBL announced to suspend the competition to at least 2 May. On 20 March, the DBL cancelled the rest of the season while naming no champion. Landstede Hammers qualified for the Basketball Champions League (BCL) based on the standings at the time. Format changes From this season, the DBL adopted FIBA's home-grown players rule. Teams need to have at least 4 (for a 10-man roster) or 5 (for a 12-man roster) home-grown players on their roster. Donar, also known as Donar Groningen, is a professional basketball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. The Pro Basketball League (PBL), was the highest tier level professional basketball league in Belgium for clubs. In 2021, the league was succeeded by the Belgian-Dutch BNXT League. Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen, also known as Kangoeroes or Kangoeroes Mechelen, is a basketball club based in Mechelen, Belgium. Founded in 2009, the club plays in the BNXT League. Brandyn Curry (born October 2, 1991) is an American professional basketball player, who lastly played for U-BT Cluj-Napoca. Curry played five seasons collegiately for Harvard.
