Carrer de Sants is a high street in the eponymous neighbourhood of Sants, in Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). After being designated officially a commercial road in 1999 by shopkeepers' associations of its district, it is often claimed to be Europe's longest commercial road, spanning also Carrer de la Creu Coberta (which is essentially the same street). The Sants-Montjuïc district council has its seat there. Names and history The street's name stems from the old parish of Santa Maria de Sants, the neighbourhood's patron saint. It is often referred to as Carretera de Sants, especially by locals, which reveals the street's origins as an 18th-century road from Barcelona to the then village of Sants. The incorporation of Sants into Barcelona took place in 1897 by order of regent Infanta Maria Cristina of Spain. Then it became the very core of the much industrialised, proletarian Sants. Line 1, shortened to L1, coloured red and often simply called ''Línia vermella'' ("Red Line"), is the second oldest Barcelona Metro line, after line L3. It is the longest line of the Barcelona Metro, and links L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Santa Coloma de Gramenet. Collblanc (Barcelona Metro)
Collblanc is a station on line 5, line 9 and line 10 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Carretera de Collblanc in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, between Travessera de les Corts and Carrer Francesc Layret. It was opened in 1969 and served as terminus until the extension to Pubilla Cases station of the L5 in 1973. The name of the station was "San Ramón" (in Spanish) or "Sant Ramon" till the mid 1980s. In February 2016 was opened the L9 station. In September 2018 opened the L10 section. The L5 is a side platform station and the L9/L10 is a two levels station. It has a ticket hall on either end, the western one with two accesses at Carrer Francesc Layret and Carrer Doctor Martí Julià, the eastern one with one access at San Ramón. Hostafrancs () is a Barcelona Metro station, named after the Hostafrancs neighbourhood, in the Sants-Montjuïc district of the city of Barcelona. The station is served by line L1. Sants
Sants is a neighbourhood in the southern part of Barcelona. It belongs to the district of Sants-Montjuïc and is bordered by the districts of Eixample to the northeast, Les Corts to the northwest, and by the municipality of l'Hospitalet de Llobregat to the south.
