Carrapicho Band ( pt-br: ''Starburrs'') is a Brazilian music group. Members are natives of the state of Amazonas. (Retrieved 17/01/2012) History Carrapicho was created in 1980 in Manaus. Earlier works were in the traditional Forró music style, and they were known throughout the northern region. At the end of 1980s, the "Ox-dance Festival" tunes were commonly in their work, but not leaving the dance apart. The group worked regionally for fifteen years, until a French singer, Patrick Bruel, heard their song "Tic, Tic Tac" in 1996 and decided to launch it in his country, France, where it reached the number one spot. It also charted in several European countries, including the top 10 in Belgium and Spain. Parintins
Parintins is a municipality in the far east of the Amazonas state of Brazil. It is part of a microregion also named Parintins. The population for the entire municipality was 115,363 (IBGE 2020) and its area is 5,952 km2. The city is located on Tupinambarana island in the Amazon River. Parintins is known for the Parintins Folklore Festival, a popular festival held there each June and depicting Boi-Bumbá. It was also the site of an experimental deployment of WiMAX, sponsored by Intel, in late 2006. It is served by Júlio Belém Airport. The Sistema Brasileiro de Televisão (; SBT ; "Brazilian Television System") is a Brazilian television network founded on Wednesday, 19 August 1981, by the businessman and television personality Silvio Santos. The company was established after a public tender by the Brazilian Federal Government to form two new networks, created from revoked concessions of the defunct Tupi and Excelsior networks. Accordions (from 19th-century German ''Akkordeon'', from ''Akkord''—"musical chord, concord of sounds") are a family of box-shaped musical instruments of the bellows-driven free-reed aerophone type (producing sound as air flows past a reed in a frame), colloquially referred to as a squeezebox. Bass Guitar
The bass guitar, electric bass or simply bass (), is the lowest-pitched member of the string family. The guitar is a fretted musical instrument that typically has six strings. Murat Nasyrov
Murat Ismailovich Nasyrov (russian: Мурат Исмаилович Насыров, link=no; ug, مۇرات ناسىروۋ, Murat Nasirow, 6=Мурат Насироз; 13 December 1969 – 19 January 2007) was a Russian pop singer of Uyghur ethnicity. Frank Farian
Frank Farian (born Franz Reuther; 18 July 1941) is a German record producer, musician, singer and songwriter, who founded the 1970s disco-pop group Boney M., the Latin pop band No Mercy and the pop band Milli Vanilli.
