Carpasio ( Ligurian: ''Carpaxe'') is a former ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about southwest of Genoa and about northwest of Imperia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 180 and an area of .All demographics and other statistics: Italian statistical institute Istat. At the beginning of 2018 Caprasio was unified with Montalto Ligure in the new comune of Montalto Carpasio. Carpasio bordered the following municipalities: Borgomaro, Molini di Triora, Montalto Ligure, Prelà, and Rezzo.
