Carnosaur Films
The ''Carnosaur'' film series consists of B-movies produced by Roger Corman that feature genetically engineered dinosaurs running amok in various scenarios. The series started with the first ''Carnosaur'' film, released in 1993, that was loosely based on the 1984 novel ''Carnosaur'' by John Brosnan. Two sequels were released direct-to-video: ''Carnosaur 2'' in 1995, and '' Carnosaur 3: Primal Species'' in 1996. Two subsequent films use footage from the ''Carnosaur'' films: ''Raptor'' (2001) and ''The Eden Formula'' (2006). B Movie
A B movie or B film is a low-budget commercial motion picture. In its original usage, during the Golden Age of Hollywood, the term more precisely identified films intended for distribution as the less-publicized bottom half of a double feature (akin to B-sides for recorded music). However, the U.S. production of films intended as second features largely ceased by the end of the 1950s. With the emergence of commercial television at that time, film studio B movie production departments changed into television film production divisions. They created much of the same type of content in low budget films and series. The term ''B movie'' continues to be used in its broader sense to this day. Janet Gunn (born as Janet Lynn Fulkerson on November 2, 1961 is an American actress. She appeared in films '' Night of the Running Man'' (1995) and '' The Quest'' (1996), and from 1996 to 1999 starred as Detective Cassandra St. John in the USA Network crime drama series, ''Silk Stalkings''.
