Carmen Quesada
Carmen Rosa Quesada Campos (born 12 March 1996) is a Peruvian footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Municipalidad de Majes and the Peru women's national team. Club career Quesada is a former player of Club Universitario de Deportes. International career Quesada represented Peru at the 2012 South American U-17 Women's Championship and two South American U-20 Women's Championship editions (2014 and 2015). Peru Women's National Football Team
The Peru women's national football team represents Peru in international women's football and is controlled by the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF) (Federación Peruana de Fútbol in Spanish) as a part of the CONMEBOL federation. Peru's best result in major international competitions was in the 1998 Sudamericano Femenino, where they achieved third place. ''La Blanquirroja'' is coached by Marta Tejedor and plays the majority of its games in the Estadio Nacional. 2014 South American U-20 Women's Championship
The 2014 South American U-20 Women's Championship was the 6th edition of the South American under-20 women's football championship. It was held from 12 to 31 January 2014 in Uruguay. The best two teams also qualified for the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Brazil were the defending champions having won all five previous editions of the tournament. Peruvians ( es, peruanos) are the citizens of Peru. There were Andean and coastal ancient civilizations like Caral, which inhabited what is now Peruvian territory for several millennia before the Spanish conquest in the 16th century; Peruvian population decreased from an estimated 5–9 million in the 1520s to around 600,000 in 1620 mainly because of infectious diseases carried by the Spanish. Spaniards and Africans arrived in large numbers in 1532 under colonial rule, mixing widely with each other and with Native Peruvians.
