Carmen's Crew
Carmen's Crew are an American basketball team that has participated in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), an annual winner-take-all single-elimination tournament. The team first played in the tournament in 2017 under the name Scarlet & Gray, and won the championship (and $2 million prize) in 2019. The team's roster consists of professional basketball players who compete outside of the NBA, most of whom played college basketball for the Ohio State Buckeyes men's basketball team. The TBT team is an independent entity that was previously named after the college team's colors (scarlet and gray), and is currently named after Ohio State's school song ("Carmen Ohio "Carmen Ohio" (Latin: Song of Ohio) is the oldest school song still used by Ohio State University. The Basketball Tournament
The Basketball Tournament (TBT) is an open-application, single-elimination tournament played each summer in the United States. The 2022 edition features 64 teams with a $1 million winner-take-all prize, broadcast by ESPN. TBT was founded in 2014 by Jonathan Mugar. Format Teams in TBT are arranged by the general manager, sometimes based on which college basketball program the players competed for. The tournament has had as many as 97 teams, in 2015, and as few as 24 teams, in 2020. Since 2016, the tournament has most often used a 64-team field. In 2019, the 64 teams were divided into eight regions, with each regional winner advancing to the championship venue. In 2020, the tournament field was reduced to 24 teams with all games played at a single venue, due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States. Leon Rodgers (born June 19, 1980) is an American-born Venezuelan retired basketball player. Standing at , he played as small forward. Evan Ravenel (born November 24, 1989), nicknamed E, is an American professional basketball player for Altiri Chiba of the B3 League. College career He began his collegiate career at Boston College, and was transferred to the Ohio State Buckeyes. He helped the OSU advance to the NCAA Final Four as a college junior.
