Carlos Turrubiates
Carlos Turrubiates Pérez (born 24 January 1968) is a Mexican former professional footballer who played for León, Guadalajara and Atlante. A central defender, Turrubiates began his career with León during the 1990–91 season.MedioTiempo"Carlos Turrubiates – León". Retrieved 18 January 2013. In the following year, he scored the goal in extra time that won the championship for León against Puebla. He scored three times in the 1992–93 season and then moved to Guadalajara, where he played three years before returning to León. Turrubiates again reached the final with León during the Invierno 1997 campaign, only to lose in extra time on this occasion to Cruz Azul on a penalty from Carlos Hermosillo. Reynosa, Tamaulipas
Reynosa () is a border city in the northern part of the state of Tamaulipas, in Mexico. It is also the municipal seat of Reynosa Municipality. The city is located on the southern bank of the Rio Grande in the international Reynosa–McAllen Metropolitan Area, directly across of the Mexico-U.S. border from Hidalgo, Texas. As of 2013, the city of Reynosa has a population of 672,183. If the floating population is included in the census count, the population can reach up to approximately 1,000,000. History Reynosa was founded on 14 March 1749 with 297 inhabitants by Carlos Cantú under the command of José de Escandón y Helguera the Count of Sierra Gorda. Jamaica National Football Team
The Jamaica national football team, nicknamed the "Reggae Boyz", represents Jamaica in international football. The team's first match was against Haiti in 1925. The squad is under the supervising body of the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF), which is a member of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU), Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF), and the global jurisdiction of FIFA. Jamaica's home matches have been played at Independence Park since its opening in 1962. Sergio Bueno Rodríguez (born July 4, 1962) is a Mexican former professional footballer and manager. Player Sergio Bueno started his professional football career with Deportivo Neza in the 1983-84 tournament against Puebla FC where he came in as substitute in the 88th minute. He played with Coyotez Neza from 1983 to 1988 where he played 99 league matches and scored 3 goals. In 1988, he transferred to Atlante F.C. where he only played for one year before transferring to Querétaro F.C. where he was a key player. In 1991, he was sent on loan to Morelia where he played in 27 of the 38 matches before returning to Querétaro F.C. where he stayed until 1994. Rafael Márquez Álvarez (; born 13 February 1979) is a Mexican former professional footballer and current head coach of Spanish team Barcelona Atlètic. Nicknamed '' El Káiser'', he is regarded as the best defender in Mexico's history and one of the best Mexican players of all time. Márquez began his career with Atlas in 1996, playing in over 70 games with the club before moving to France in 1999 with Monaco, where he won the Ligue 1 title. The Ecuador national football team ( es, Selección de fútbol de Ecuador) represents Ecuador in men's international football and is controlled by the Ecuadorian Football Federation (FEF). They joined FIFA in 1926 and CONMEBOL a year later. Discarding an invitation to participate in the inaugural FIFA World Cup held in Uruguay, Ecuador did not make their tournament debut until 2002.
