Carlos Alberto Ramon Rios (born 14 April 1971) is an Argentine professional boxer. He currently has 53 wins and 11 losses. Rios has fought in the super lightweight and featherweight division. Rios has fought for a world title on several occasions. In 1997 Rios fought Luisito Espinosa for the WBC featherweight title. He was defeated by TKO in the 6th round. In 1999, Rios was defeated by Floyd Mayweather Jr. for the WBC super featherweight title. He later fought Acelino Freitas in 2000 for the WBO super featherweight title. The fight ended in a technical knockout after Rios' corner threw in the towel. Juan Carlos Ríos Vidal (born 17 November 1964) is a Spanish football manager and former player. Manager career Born in Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Cádiz, Andalusia, Ríos began his managerial career at Atlético Sanluqueño CF's youth setup, club which he represented as a player. In the 2003 summer, after managing Sanluqueño's main squad and Real Balompédica Linense, he was appointed CD Alcalá manager, winning promotion to Segunda División B in his first campaign. In April 2008 Ríos returned to Alcalá, after a stint at Linense. Acelino "Popó" Freitas (; born September 21, 1975) is a Brazilian politician and a former professional boxer who competed between 1995 to 2017. He is a world champion in two weight classes, having held the WBO super featherweight title from 1992 to 2004, the WBA (Unified) super featherweight title from 2002 to 2004, and the WBO lightweight title twice between 2004 to 2007. Lovemore Ndou (born 16 August 1971) is a South African-Australian solicitor and former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2012. He held the IBF junior-welterweight title in 2007, and the IBO welterweight title from 2009 to 2010. A submission is a combat sports term for yielding to the opponent, and hence resulting in an immediate defeat. The submission – then also referred to as a "tap out" or "tapping out" – is often performed by visibly tapping the floor or the opponent with the hand or in some cases with the foot, or by saying the word "tap" to signal the opponent and/or the referee of the submission.
