Carlos Parra (born February 3, 1977) is a retired American soccer player who was the first player signed by MLS Pro 40. He played professionally as a defender in Major League Soccer and the USL First Division. Professional career Club Parra played for the Oakwood Soccer Club in Glastonbury, CT. In 1997, Parra graduated from Hamden Hall Country Day School where he was a two-time Parade Magazine All American soccer player. On March 1, 1997, Parra became the first player to sign with MLS Project 40. The league assigned him to the MetroStars. He began the 1998 season on loan to MLS Pro 40 in the USISL A-League. On June 5, 1998, the MetroStars traded Parra to the Miami Fusion for Ramiro Corrales. On June 4, 1999 the Fusion sent Parra to the New England Revolution for Tony Kuhn and a second-round pick in the 2000 MLS SuperDraft. West Haven is a city in New Haven County, Connecticut, United States. It is located on the coast of Long Island Sound. At the 2020 census, the population of the city was 55,584. United Soccer League (USL), formerly known as United Soccer Leagues, is a soccer league in the United States and Canada. It organizes several men's and women's leagues, both professional and amateur. The 1997 FIFA World Youth Championship, known as the 1997 FIFA/Coca-Cola World Youth Championship for sponsorship purposes, was the 11th staging of the FIFA World Youth Championship. Stoian Mladenov
Stoian Mladenov (first name more frequently transliterated as Stoyan) ( bg, Стоян Младенов) is a retired Bulgarian football (soccer) midfielder who played professionally in Europe and the United States. Career In 1993, Mladenov began his career with Lokomotiv Ruse before moving to Rakovski Ruse in 1994 and F.C. Etar in 1995. Mladenov left Bulgaria for Malta in 1996, signing with Nadur Youngsters F.C. He was the 1996-1997 Best Foreign Player as Nadur won the Gozo Football League First Division championship. In 1997, Mladenov moved to the United States and joined the Long Island Rough Riders. He played for their U-23 team that season. Steve Armas
Anibal “Steve” Armas (born March 2, 1977) is a retired American soccer midfielder who is a currently Associate Head Coach for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons men's soccer program. Armas previously spent one season in Major League Soccer and several seasons in the United Soccer Leagues. He was a member of the United States U-17 men's national soccer team at the 1993 FIFA U-17 World Championship. Coaching wise he served as a head and assistant coach at Campbell University, Greensboro College and the Carolina Dynamo. Player Youth Armas grew up in Maryland where he was an NSCAA and Parade Magazine High School All American soccer player at the Bullis School. The 2002 Major League Soccer SuperDraft was held on February 10, 2002 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. One month earlier, MLS had contracted two clubs: Tampa Bay Mutiny and Miami Fusion. Matthew Nwabueze Okoh (born May 19, 1972) is a former U.S.-Nigerian soccer player and currently assistant coach of the DSU Hornets Women. His playing career spanned eight years and took him from the United States to Brazil, Germany and Portugal. Since retiring from playing, Okoh has devoted himself to coaching collegiate soccer. Imad Baba (born March 15, 1974) is a former American soccer midfielder. He spent seven years in Major League Soccer (MLS) with the New England Revolution and Colorado Rapids. He was also a member of the American squads at the 1989 U-16 World Championships, 1993 U-20 World Cup and the 1996 Summer Olympics. Baba earned one cap with the senior United States national team.
