Carlos Alberto González Romero (born in 1960 in Coronel) is a Chilean football manager and former footballer. Playing career In 1990, González joined Peruvian club Sporting Cristal, coinciding with his compatriots Quemel Farías as teammate and Eugenio Jara as coach. Coaching career In 2004, he was signed by Deportes Temuco. That season he put the team into the Torneo Apertura and Torneo Clausura quarterfinals. On December 12, 2005, he agreed a contract with Santiago Wanderers to coach them for face the Torneo Apertura. On July 3, he was fired from Wanderers. In 2006, he returned to Temuco to coach the now called ''Deportivo Temuco''. On April 23, 2007, he was fired from Deportivo Temuco, being replaced by Eduardo Bonvallet Eduardo Guillermo Bonvallet Godoy (13 January 1955 – 18 September 2015) was a Chilean footballer who played as a defensive midfielder and later developed a sportscasting career. Coronel, Chile
Coronel () is a Chilean city and commune, located in the Concepción Province of the eighth region of Bio Bío. Geography The city of Coronel is located in a sandy platform that goes from the mouth of the Biobío River to the Arauco Gulf bay, a muddy landscape, full of forests, typical of the region. This muddy, forested landscape enclosed by high mountains was what the first Spanish conquistadors and settlers found when arriving. Vegetation and forests covered most of the area except very close to the coast. This type of landscape is characteristic of the province. The total area of the commune is . Eduardo Guillermo Bonvallet Godoy (13 January 1955 – 18 September 2015) was a Chilean footballer who played as a defensive midfielder and later developed a sportscasting career. He was best known for his strong and rather harsh commentaries on Chilean football players, coaches and managerial structures. Bonvallet had put himself forward repeatedly for the position of coach for the national team. Bonvallet had experience training university-level teams, such as Universidad Gabriela Mistral. Temuco () is a city and commune, capital of the Cautín Province and of the Araucanía Region in southern Chile. The city is located south of Santiago.
