Carlos, Alberta
Clearwater County is a municipal district in west central Alberta, Canada in Division No. 9. Its northwest boundary is the Brazeau River. The municipal office is located in the Town of Rocky Mountain House. The county has a land area of 18,691.65 km2 (7,216.89 sq mi) and comprises close to 99% of Census Division No. 9's land area of 18,921.38 km2 (7,305.59 sq mi). Although the territory excluded is rather small in geographical area, it comprises the major population centre of Rocky Mountain House, which has one-third of Division No. 9's population, in addition to the communities of Caroline, Burnstick Lake and three Indian reserves. The county's 2016 census population was 11,947. The economy of the county is based on agriculture, oil and gas and forestry, with tourism increasing in importance in recent years. Carlos (Calusa)
Carlos, also known as Calos or King Calusa (died 1567), was king or paramount chief of the Calusa people of Southwest Florida from about 1556 until his death. As his father, the preceding king, was also known as Carlos, he is sometimes called Carlos II. Carlos ruled over one of the most powerful and prosperous chiefdoms in the region at the time, controlling the coastal areas of southwest Florida and wielding influence throughout the southern peninsula. Contemporary Europeans recognized him as the most powerful chief in Florida. Carlos inherited the throne from his father, who had been installed as regent while the designated heir, Felipe, was too young to rule. Carlos Toshiki (カルロス トシキ, born as Carlos Toshiki Takahashi on 7 April 1964) is a Japanese Brazilian singer-songwriter who was the lead vocalist of the popular Japanese city pop band 1986 Omega Tribe and its successor band Carlos Toshiki & Omega Tribe during the mid to late 80's. He was a popular vocalist during the band's era, with the singles "Kimi wa 1000%" and " Aquamarine no Mama de Ite" being hit singles on the Oricon charts. Born in southern Brazil, Toshiki imitated songs that his father used to play as a DJ, ranging from pop songs to traditional enka. His father noticed his talent, and to encourage him to sing in front of a crowd, he promised Toshiki that if he won a singing competition he would send him to Tokyo. Carlos (born Yvan-Chrysostome Dolto; February 20, 1943 — January 17, 2008) was a French singer, entertainer and actor. He is sometimes called Jean-Christophe Doltovitch. Biography He was the son of the psychoanalyst Françoise Dolto and the physiotherapist Boris Dolto (born Doltovitch) a Russian migrant from Crimea. He also obtained a diploma in 1961 at ''l’École française d'orthopédie et de masso-kinésithérapie'', headed by his father. At the age of 14 he met Johnny Hallyday, who befriended him.
