Carlos Gandolfo
Carlos Gandolfo (March 27, 1931January 12, 2005) was an Argentine stage actor and director. Life and work Carlos Gandolfo was born in Buenos Aires, in 1931. He was a director in local, independent theatres ''Teatro de los Independientes'' and ''La Máscara'' during the 1950s and in 1958, received his first film role in Simón Feldman's ''El negoción'' (''The Bargain''). That year, he met an 18-year-old aspiring actress, Dora Baret, with whom he began a relationship and married, in 1963. The couple had two boys: MatÃas, an actor, and Emanuel, a well-known local illusionist. Gandolfo was not a prolific film actor, and his only significant roles were in AgustÃn Navarro's ''Una jaula no tiene secretos'' (''A Cage Keeps No Secrets'', 1962), and in Alejandro Doria's banned political satire, ''Proceso a la infamia'' (''Trial on Infamy''), which was made in 1974; but, released in an edited version four years later. Buenos Aires ( or ; ), officially the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires ( es, link=no, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires), is the capital and primate city of Argentina. Arthur Miller
Arthur Asher Miller (October 17, 1915 – February 10, 2005) was an American playwright, essayist and screenwriter in the 20th-century American theater. Among his most popular plays are '' All My Sons'' (1947), ''Death of a Salesman'' (1949), ''The Crucible'' (1953), and '' A View from the Bridge'' (1955). He wrote several screenplays and was most noted for his work on '' The Misfits'' (1961). The drama ''Death of a Salesman'' is considered one of the best American plays of the 20th century. Tony Kushner
Anthony Robert Kushner (born July 16, 1956) is an American author, playwright, and screenwriter. Lauded for his work on stage he's most known for his seminal work ''Angels in America'' which earned a Pulitzer Prize and a Tony Award. At the turn of the 21st Century he became known for his numerous film collaborations with Steven Spielberg. He received the National Medal of Arts from President Barack Obama in 2013. Kushner made his Broadway debut in 1993 with both '' Angels in America: Millennium Approaches'' and '' Angels in America: Perestroika''. He received the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play. He then adapted it into a 2003 miniseries directed by Mike Nichols for which Kushner received a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Limited Series or Movie. ''A View from the Bridge'' is a play by American playwright Arthur Miller. It was first staged on September 29, 1955, as a one-act verse drama with ''A Memory of Two Mondays'' at the Coronet Theatre on Broadway. The run was unsuccessful, and Miller subsequently revised and extended the play to contain two acts; this version is the one with which audiences are most familiar.
