Carlos Desio
Carlos Alberto Desio (born 25 January 1973) is an Argentine football manager and former player who played as a midfielder. Career Born in Corral de Bustos, Desio played as a youth for hometown side Sporting Club de Corral de Bustos and Independiente. He made his senior debut with the latter in 1993, but played rarely before retiring from professional football due to injuries; he still played in the regional categories, being managed by his brother at Alumni de Casilda in 2000, where both met Jorge Sampaoli who was at the time manager of Aprendices Casildenses. Desio started his managerial career at his first club Sporting Corral de Bustos, taking over the youth sides and the first team before joining Sampaoli's staff at the Chile national team in 2012, as an audiovisual analyst. Corral De Bustos
Corral de Bustos is a town in Argentina located in the district of Marcos Juárez, in the south east of the Province of Córdoba. History The town of Corral de Bustos-Ifflinger was founded in the early Twentieth Century, when the German Carlos Von Ifflinger requested permission from the Government of the Province of Cordoba to establish a town that would carry on his surname. The government granted the permit on 14 November 1901 and this is now regarded as the founding date of the city, which originally only covered what is now Barrio Ifflinger. In July 1902, a train service was inaugurated. The station was given the name Corral de Bustos, referring to an ancient Indian site located south of Chañar Ladeado. At that time, a railway official bought a field, now south of the tracks, where the railway company opened streets and began selling land. Hermes Aldo Desio (born 20 January 1970) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played for Independiente, Celta de Vigo, UD Salamanca and Deportivo Alavés, as a defensive midfielder. Career Raised in the town of Corral de Bustos in Córdoba Province, Argentina, Desio began his career in his native country playing for Club Renato Cesarini and Independiente, winning the 1993–94 Clausura with the latter. He had departed by the time they claimed the 1994 Supercopa Sudamericana, having transferred (initially on loan) to play for Celta de Vigo of Spain's La Liga, whose manager at the time, Carlos Aimar, hailed from the same town.
