Carlos Cuadras
Carlos Roberto Cuadras Quiroa (born August 24, 1988) is a Mexican professional boxer who held the WBC super flyweight title from 2014 to 2016. As an amateur he won a gold medal in the bantamweight division at the 2007 Pan American Games. Amateur career Cuadras won the gold medal at the 2007 PanAmerican Games by beating local James Pereira and winning the final against Dominican southpaw Claudio Marrero 15-11. At the 2007 World Amateur Boxing Championships he lost to Joe Murray: 19-28. Professional career In February 2010, Cuadras knocked out Oswaldo Rodriguez to win the WBC Youth Intercontinental Super Flyweight Championship at the Poliforum Zamná in Mérida, Yucatán. Cuadras is managed by his father Rosario Cuadras, and promoted by Japan's Teiken Promotions. Super flyweight, also referred to as junior bantamweight, is a boxing weight classes, weight class in professional boxing, contested from and up to . History The first title match in this division was in 1980, when the World Boxing Council responded to pressure from Asian and Latin American members who felt the difference between the flyweight limit and the bantamweight limit was too significant. Joe Murray (British Boxer)
Joseph Murray (born 3 January 1987) is a former amateur boxer from Levenshulme, Manchester, England. He is best known for winning a medal at the 2007 World Amateur Boxing Championships at bantamweight and has signed professional terms with Hatton Promotions. His brother John is the former British Lightweight champion. He got married in Wilmslow Cheshire in March 2014. He is a former pupil of Wright Robinson Sports College in Gorton, Manchester. Román Alberto González Luna (born 17 June 1987), best known by his nickname "Chocolatito", is a Nicaraguan professional boxer. Sonny Boy Jaro (born March 24, 1982) is a Filipino former professional boxer who competed from 2001 to 2019, and held the WBC and '' The Ring'' flyweight titles between March and July 2012. Biography Jaro first made a living in making shoes with his father. At 12 years of age, he took up boxing where he had 59 amateur fights. He began boxing professionally on September 1, 2001. In his first world title attempt, Jaro challenged Edgar Sosa for the WBC light-flyweight title on September 27, 2008. Despite scoring a knockdown in the 9th round, he ended up losing a unanimous decision. Sendai Tanaka
is a Japanese boxing trainer. He is one of the few outstanding trainers from Asia, and has a reputation especially for his focus mitts training. Early career Tanaka was born in Yamoto, Miyagi (current Yamoto, Higashimatsushima, Miyagi), Japan. At age fourteen when he was in the third grade of high school in 1986, he learned boxing from a former boxer from Chuo University who lived near his family home.
