Shane Taylor Carle (born August 30, 1991) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies and Atlanta Braves. Career Pittsburgh Pirates Carle attended Scotts Valley High School in Scotts Valley, California and played college baseball at Cabrillo College and California State University, Long Beach. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates in the tenth round of the 2013 Major League Baseball Draft. He signed and made his professional debut with the Jamestown Jammers and spent the whole season there, going 1-0 with a 2.15 ERA in 50.1 innings. Richard Carle (born Charles Nicholas Carleton, July 7, 1871 – June 28, 1941) was an American stage and film actor as well as a playwright and stage director. He appeared in more than 130 films between 1915 and 1941. Carle was born in Somerville, Massachusetts. He was on the stage for many years, appearing in important roles in London, New York and Chicago including as J. Pontus Carle (born in 1955 in Sweden) is a contemporary artist living between Paris and Berlin. Biography Pontus Carle was raised in Paris, where he moved with his family at the age of four. He studied etching at the Academie Henri Goetz in Paris in 1973. He continued his education at the Beaux Arts in Paris in 1976, concentrating on lithography and painting. This is followed by a year studying etching and lithography in Malmö, Sweden. Carle lived in New York City between 1980 and 1989, where he started exhibiting his work in 1985. Since 1991, he has lived and worked in Paris and Berlin.
