Christian Sophus Klein
Christian Sophus Klein (17 August 1824 – 9 January 1900) was a Danish politician, a member of the National Party. He was Minister of Justice from 1872 to 1875, and Minister for Iceland from 1874 to 1875. Biography Klein was born on 17 August 1824 in Copenhagen. He served as president of Sø- og Handelsretten (1862–72), and an accessor in Denmark's supreme court between 1877 and 1891. He was a member of the Folketing between1858–1898, and served as the Justice Minister between 1872 and 1875. Carl Theodor Zahle
Carl Theodor Zahle (19 January 1866 in Roskilde – 3 February 1946 in Copenhagen), was a Danish lawyer and politician who served as Prims Minister of Denmark from 1909 to 1910 and again from 1913 to 1920. In 1895, he was elected as a member of the lower chamber of the Danish parliament, the Folketing, for the Liberal Party (''Venstrereformpartiet''). A campaigner for peace, in 1905 he co-founded the Social Liberal Party (''Det Radikale Venstre'') together with other (mostly pacifistic) disgruntled members of ''Venstrereformpartiet''. He continued on as a member of the ''Folketinget'' for ''Det Radikale Venstre'' until 1928, when he became a member of the upper chamber of parliament ('' Landsting''). Cabinet Of Deuntzer
After the 1901 Danish Folketing election, the Council President Johan Henrik Deuntzer of the Venstre Reform Party became the leader of Denmark's first liberal government. The resulting cabinet, which replaced the Cabinet of Sehested consisting of members of the conservative party Højre, was formed on 24 July 1901 and was called the Cabinet of Deuntzer. The formation of the new cabinet is referred to in Danish as "systemskiftet", the shift of government. The cabinet marked the introduction of parliamentarism in Denmark and with the exception of the Easter Crisis of 1920 no Danish government since 1901 has been formed against the vote of a majority of the members of Folketinget. There were several internal conflicts within the cabinet. Peter Adler Alberti
Peter Adler Alberti (10 June 1851, in Copenhagen – 14 June 1932, in Copenhagen) was a Danish politician and swindler, known for the Alberti scandal of 1908. Family life On 6 October 1876 in the Church of Holmen the 25-year-old barrister (overretssagfører) Alberti married the five years younger Eugenia née Møller. They divorced and on 14 June 1906 in the Church of Our Lady (Copenhagen) he married the eleven years younger Anna Victoria Bendix née Sundberg, residing at Ny Vestergade 17-2. They also divorced. On 1 November 1906 Alberti moved from Ny Vestergade to Sankt Annæ Plads 9-1 where he resided until his arrest. On 20 August 1917 after his release from the State Prison in Vridsløselille he moved to Fælledvej 10 on Nørrebro. Six months later he moved to Gammel Kongevej 141-2 and in 1921 he resided there as a lodger with a small family, where the daughter was a clerk in the ministry of Finance. After Hugo Egmont Hørring's resignation as Council President of Denmark, Council President, Hannibal Sehested (council president), Hannibal Sehested of the conservative party Højre became the leader of the new cabinet, which replaced the Cabinet of Hørring. It consisted entirely of members of the party Højre, was formed on 27 April 1900 and was called the Cabinet of Sehested. The cabinet was replaced by the Cabinet of Deuntzer on 24 July 1901. August Hermann Ferdinand Carl Goos
August Hermann Ferdinand Carl Goos (3 January 1835 – 20 December 1917) was a Danish politician, a member of the Højre political party. He was Kultus Minister from 1891 to 1894, Minister of Justice from 1900 to 1901, and Minister for Iceland from 1900 to 1901. Biography Goos was born on 3 January 1835 in Rønne. He studied law at the University of Copenhagen, becoming a Professor of Law in 1862. He also served as a rector at the university in 1879. In 1880, Goos was elected by a Copenhagen circle in the Folketing, but in 1884 had to give way to a Social Democratic leader. In 1885, however, he became a royally elected member of the County Council. In July 1891, Goos was appointed Kultus Minister, resigning in 1894. He later served as Minister of Justtice from 1900 to 1901, as well as Minister for Iceland. Goos died in Copenhagen in 1917. Hugo Egmont Hørring (17 August 1842 – 13 February 1909) was a Danish politician, a member of the Højre political party. He was Council President of Denmark from 1897 to 1900 as the leader of the Cabinet of Hørring. Biography Hørring was born in Copenhagen, Denmark. He became a student in 1860 at Borgerdydskolen in Christianshavn and received a cand.jur. degree from the University of Copenhagen in 1868. He held various positions in the Ministry of the Interior and in 1882 became director of the Royal Greenland Trading Department (''Den Kongelige Grønlandske Handel'').
