Carl Drega
Carl Drega (January 19, 1935 – August 19, 1997) was a man from Bow, New Hampshire, who killed two state troopers, a judge and a newspaper editor and wounded four other law enforcement officers before being shot to death in a gunfight with police. Background Drega was born in New Haven, Connecticut, to Polish immigrants. He claimed to have served in the U.S. military during the Korean War. He later worked in construction and lived in Manchester, New Hampshire, and built a home for himself and his wife in Bow, New Hampshire, during 1969–1970. Drega's wife died of cancer in 1972.
