Carit Etlar
Carit Etlar, the better-known pen name of Carl Brosbøll (August 7, 1816 – May 9, 1900), was a Danish author, known mostly for his 1853 book ''Gjøngehøvdingen'' about the eponymous Svend Poulsen Gønge. Dano-Swedish War (1658–1660)
The Dano-Swedish War of 1658–1660 was a war between Denmark–Norway and Sweden, with the former backed by the Dutch Republic and Poland. It is known in Denmark as the Second Karl Gustav War ( da, Anden Karl Gustav-krig), in Norway as Bjelkes Feud ( no, Bjelkefeiden) in Sweden as Karl Gustav's Second Danish War ( sv, Karl Gustavs andra danska krig), and in the Netherlands as the Swedish-Dutch War ( nl, Zweeds-Nederlandse Oorlog). ''The Musketeers'' ( da, Gøngehøvdingen) is a 1961 Danish family film directed by Annelise Hovmand and starring Jens Østerholm. It was followed by the 1963 film '' Dronningens vagtmester''. Plot The film is set in 1658, a war goes, and winter is cold and harsh. The Swedish King Karl X Gustav, who is drawn with his army from Germany and staying in Jutland, can easily access Copenhagen. In South Zealand, the cuckolds fight against the Swedish supremacy under the leadership of Svend Poulsen, who is called the Gønhøvdingen. Peter Jansen Wessel Tordenskiold (28 October 1690 – 12 November 1720), commonly referred to as Tordenskjold (), was a Norwegian nobleman and flag officer who spent his career in the service of the Royal Dano-Norwegian Navy. He rose to the rank of vice-admiral for his services in the Great Northern War. Born in the Norwegian city of Trondheim, Peter Wessel travelled to Copenhagen in 1704, and eventually enlisted in the navy. He won a name for himself through audacity and courage, and was ennobled as ''Peter Tordenskiold'' by King Frederick IV in 1716. His greatest exploit came later that year, as he destroyed the supply fleet of Charles XII of Sweden at the Battle of Dynekilen, ensuring his siege of Fredriksten would end in failure.
