Carey Means
Carey Means (born December 4, 1966) is an American voice and stage actor best known for playing Frylock on the Adult Swim show ''Aqua Teen Hunger Force'', and Thundercleese on ''The Brak Show''. He has also performed in several theatrical musicals and plays, including '' South Pacific'', ''Two Trains Running'', '' A Soldier's Play'', and '' Waiting for Godot''. He provided the voice of Jonah Bishop on the Nickelodeon series ''Welcome to the Wayne.'' Personal life Means is a graduate of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri with a degree for B.S. Fine Arts/Vocal Music. He is trained in many dialects, Australian, British, German, Italian, Celtic, Jamaican, Hispanic, South African, South Mississippian, New York, Asian, French, and West Indian Ocean. He currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife Leah Means. On March 31, 2022, Means' wife announced that he had been hospitalized with congestive heart failure. Lincoln University (Missouri)
Lincoln University (Lincoln U) is a public, historically black, land-grant university in Jefferson City, Missouri. Founded in 1866 by African-American veterans of the American Civil War, it is a member-school of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. This was the first black university in the state. In the fall 2021, the university enrolled 1,794 students. History During the Civil War, the 62nd Colored Infantry regiment of the U.S. Army, largely recruited in Missouri, set up educational programs for its soldiers. At the end of the war it raised $6,300 to set up a black school, headed by a white abolitionist officer, Richard Foster and founded by James Milton Turner, a student and protege of John Berry Meachum. Foster opened the Lincoln Institute in Jefferson City in 1866. Lincoln had a black student body, both black and white teachers, and outside support from religious groups. ''Aqua Teen Hunger Force Zombie Ninja Pro-Am'' is a video game based on the Adult Swim animated television series, ''Aqua Teen Hunger Force''. It is a hybrid kart racing/fighting/golf game that takes place on several New Jersey golf courses. It was released for the PlayStation 2 in North America on November 5, 2007, in Australia on November 15, and in Europe on November 16. The game features all of the actors on the show at that time and includes four full episodes of ''Aqua Teen Hunger Force''. ESPN sportscaster Scott Van Pelt provides commentary for the game. Gameplay The golf segment of the game features nine holes. The first few holes are located on Jersey Pines golf course and are based on locations within the show, such as the tar pits, the Moon, Hell, and a fantasy level that Meatwad creates with Osirus's t-shirt. Jubilee (musical)
''Jubilee'' is a musical comedy with a book by Moss Hart and music and lyrics by Cole Porter. It premiered on Broadway in 1935 to rapturous reviews. Inspired by the recent silver jubilee of King George V of Great Britain, the story is of the royal family of a fictional European country. Several of its songs, especially "Begin the Beguine" and " Just One of Those Things", became independently popular and have become part of the American Songbook. The musical opened on Broadway in October 1935, in the midst of the Great Depression. It had strong reviews and was considered "one of the great theatrical events of the 1930s." It ran for 169 performances. Although the original arrangements were lost after 1948, beginning in 1986 the musical was reconstructed.
