Carena, Ticino
Sant'Antonio is a former Municipalities of Switzerland, municipality in the district of Bellinzona (district), Bellinzona in the Cantons of Switzerland, canton of Ticino in Switzerland. It includes the hamlet of Carena. On 2 April 2017 the former municipalities of Camorino, Claro, Ticino, Claro, Giubiasco, Gnosca, Gorduno, Gudo, Moleno, Monte Carasso, Pianezzo, Preonzo and Sementina merged into the municipality of Bellinzona. History A grave from the Early Iron Age (750-400 BC) has been discovered in the village. The so-called ''Squadra'' or part of the village made up the Middle Ages, medieval municipality of Vallemorobbia. In 1803, it became a part of the political municipality of Vallemorobbia. Sant'Antonio became an independent municipality in 1831. Before 1600 the village part of the parish of Bellinzona, followed by the parish of Pianezzo until 1680. Carena (trademark)
Aminophylline is a compound of the bronchodilator theophylline with ethylenediamine in 2:1 ratio. The ethylenediamine improves solubility, and the aminophylline is usually found as a dihydrate. Aminophylline is less potent and shorter-acting than theophylline. Its most common use is in the treatment of airway obstruction from asthma or COPD. Aminophylline is a nonselective adenosine receptor antagonist and phosphodiesterase inhibitor. Felice Carena
Felice Carena (13 August 1879 – 10 June 1966) was an Italian painter. Biography Born at Cumiana, he studied in the Turin's Accademia Albertina, where he attended symbolist poets such as Arturo Graf and Giovanni Cena. In 1906 he moved to Rome and in 1912 he exhibited his works at the Biennale di Venezia. In 1913–1915 he began to be influenced by the style of Cézanne and Matisse; in the World War I period Carena lived in Anticoli Corrado, a hamlet outside Rome. In 1922 he created in Rome an art school and, two years later, he began to teach in the Florence Academy. Marcela Carena
Marcela Silvia Carena Lopez (born 22 March 1962) is a theoretical physicist, and Distinguished Scientist at the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois, where she is also head of the lab's Theory Division. She is also a professor at the University of Chicago, where she is a member of the Enrico Fermi Institute and the Kavli Institute for Cosmological Physics. Early life and education Marcela Carena was born on 22 March 1962 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and grew up in the Villa Urquiza neighborhood. An only child, her father was an Italian immigrant who had immigrated to Argentina in the early 20th century, and her mother came from a Spanish family who had previously immigrated to Argentina.
