Antônio de Oliveira Filho (born 5 October 1960), better known as Careca (), is a Brazilian former footballer, who was deployed as a forward. During his career, Careca played for several clubs, most notably with Italian side Napoli. He also represented the Brazil national football team on over 60 occasions. Club career Careca began his footballing career in his home state of São Paulo (state), São Paulo with local side Guarani FC, Guarani in 1978. With his finishing ability and devastating pace quickly established himself as one of his country's best young strikers. With Guarani, he won the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A, Brazilian Championship during his first season and the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, Brazilian Second Division in 1981. Hamilton De Souza
Hamilton de Souza (born 27 September 1968 in Passos, Minas Gerais), better known as Careca or Careca II, is a former Brazilian footballer who played as a striker. Careca II played for several Brazilian clubs as Cruzeiro, Atlético Mineiro and Coritiba and also for Sporting CP in Portugal. Careca competed for Brazil at the 1988 Summer Olympics. In the first round, he started three times in the front line with the famed Romário but did not score and was each time substituted for Bebeto. Careca also played each of Brazil's three games in the knock-out stages and won the silver medal, after Brazil lost the final against the Soviet Union. Bola De Ouro
The ''Bola de Ouro'' (Golden Ball) is an annual award given each year, since 1973, by Brazilian sports magazine ''Placar'' to the best player in the Campeonato Brasileiro. A group of sports journalists watch every match of the competition and rate players 1 to 10 based on their performance. At the end of the season, the players with the best average rating in each position are awarded the ''Bola de Prata'' (Silver Ball), and the player with the best overall average rating is the recipient of the Bola de Ouro. The awards were first given in 1973, but since the 1970 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A the magazine had started to evaluate players. The 1971 winner, Dirceu Lopes, received the award in the 2013 edition. Since the 1975 edition Placar also started to award a Bola de Prata to the top goalscorer of the competition. Guarani Futebol Clube, colloquially called Guarani, is a Brazilian association football club in Campinas, São Paulo. The 1989–90 Serie A season was another successful year for Napoli, with Diego Maradona being among the leading goalscorers in Serie A (16 goals), behind Marco van Basten of Milan (19 goals) and Roberto Baggio of Fiorentina (17 goals). But while Baggio's Fiorentina narrowly avoided relegation, Maradona's Napoli won their second Serie A title in four seasons, while Van Basten helped Milan retain the European Cup as compensation for their failure to win the Serie A title, having finished two points behind Napoli. Bruno Giordano
Bruno Giordano (; born 13 August 1956) is an Italian football manager and former player, who was deployed as a forward and is mostly remembered for winning the title of Serie A capocannoniere (top goalscorer) achieved with Lazio as well as for his successful time at Napoli.
