Carcereiros
''Carcereiros'' ( Jailers) is a Brazilian crime drama television series. It was produced by Rede Globo and released by the Globoplay streaming service. The first season was released on the service on June 8, 2017. The series debuted on Rede Globo free-to-air television network on April 26, 2018 and ended on January 22, 2021. It is written by Marçal Aquino, Fernando Bonassi and Dennison Ramalho with collaboration of Marcelo Starobinas, inspired by Dráuzio Varella's book of the same name. Artistic direction is by José Eduardo Belmonte. Plot Adriano is a graduate in history, who becomes a penitentiary agent to follow in the footsteps of his father, Tibério. His colleagues of profession, Vinícius and Isaías, along with the head of security Juscelino, help him cope up with the problems of the work environment. Kaysar Dadour
Kaysar Dadour (Arabic: قيصر دادور; ; born 9 July 1989) is a Syrian-Brazilian actor. He became known after attending the 18th edition of ''Big Brother Brazil'', which he was runner-up. His first prominent role as an actor was playing Fauze in the Brazilian telenovela ''Órfãos da Terra''. Early life Dadour was born and raised in Aleppo, Syria. He is the son of Diane and George Dadour and has a younger sister named Celine. In 2011, Kaysar left his homeland, which was in civil war, and fled by car to Lebanon. From Lebanon, he traveled by plane to Ukraine and lived there for a few years. In 2014, he migrated to Curitiba, Brazil, in search of a better life and to bring his family to the country. Alexandre da Silva Santana (born December 10, 1979), known professionally as Babu Santana, is a Brazilian actor and singer. Born in Vidigal, Rio de Janeiro, Santana acted in plays at school since his 12 years and joined the theater group Nós do Morro when he was 17. Dráuzio Varella
Antônio Drauzio Varella (Brazilian Portuguese: ; born May 3, 1943 in São Paulo, Brazil) is a Brazilian doctor, educator, scientist and medical science popularizer in the press and TV, as well as best-selling author. In addition to medicine, Varella is a public commentator on issues such as prison conditions, social welfare, government, literature and his professed atheism and skepticism. Varella came from a family of Portuguese and Spanish descent from São Paulo. He studied medicine at the Medical School of the University of São Paulo. While a student, he was one of the founders of a pre-med preparatory course with João Carlos di Genio and other colleagues, where he taught chemistry for several years.
