Angelo Carbone (born 23 March 1968) is an Italian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Career Club Carbone had a much travelled career, playing for ten different clubs. He began his youth career with Bari, making his professional debut with the club in Serie B during the 1988–89 season, earning promotion to Serie A. During his first season in Serie A, he broke into the starting line-up, making 26 appearances and scoring a goal against Inter at the San Siro stadium. In 1990, he moved to Milan at the request of manager Arrigo Sacchi. During his first season with the club, he made 21 appearances in Serie A, making his club debut on 9 September 1990, in a 1–0 home win over Genoa in Serie A. He also made his UEFA Champions League debut, scoring a goal against Club Bruges, and he started in Milan's European Supercup and Intercontinental Cup victories in 1990. Francesco Carbone (born 4 January 1980) is a retired Italian footballer who played as a defender. Biography Early career Born in Rome, Lazio, Carbone started his career at S.S. Lazio. Carbone then left for Foggia. Chievo and loans In 1999, Carbone was sold to Serie B club Chievo in a co-ownership deal. In June 2000, Chievo purchased the player outright. Giovanni Bernardo Carboni (12 May 1614 – 11 March 1683) (also Carbone) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period. Biography He was born in Albaro, near Genoa. He became a pupil of Giovanni Andrea de Ferrari and he was likely a contemporary in the studio with two other Ferrari pupils: Giovanni Benedetto Castiglione and Giovanni Andrea Podesta. Other influences on his style came from trips to Venice of c. 1643–4 and 1650, his friendships with Valerio Castello and Casone, as well as the contact with his prolific brother and painter, Giovanni Battista Carlone. He best known as a portrait painter, usually in full-length or three quarters view; his portraits are mainly of aristocracy dressed in full regalia or shown amid items of their property in the manner of Anthony van Dyck. Maria Carbone (15 June 1908 – 28 December 2002) was an Italian operatic soprano. She created the lead female roles in two of Gian Francesco Malipiero's operas: the title role in ''Ecuba'' (11 January 1941) and Cleopatra in ''Antonio e Cleopatra'' (4 May 1938). Mariah Suzanne Carbone is an American geophysicist who is a professor of Geosciences at the Center for ecosystem science and society, Northern Arizona University. She studies terrestrial ecosystems and how they respond to environmental change.
