Caravana de Campeones (2015) ( Spanish for "Caravan of Champions") was a major annual professional wrestling event produced and scripted by Mexican ''Lucha Libre'', or professional wrestling promotion, International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG). The show was held on October 11, 2015 in Arena Naucalpan, Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico, IWRG's main arena. The 2015 version of the event was the ninth overall show IWRG has held under the '' Caravana de Campeones'' banner. As the name indicates the focal point of the show was the various championships promoted by IWRG as every match was for a championship. In the main event of the five-match show Máscara Año 2000 Jr. defeated El Hijo de Dos Caras to win the IWRG Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship. International Wrestling Revolution Group
International Wrestling Revolution Group (Grupo Internacional Revolución in Spanish; the Spanish name is used for the promotion while the English initials are used for the title governing body) is a Lucha Libre promotion based in Naucalpan, State of Mexico, Mexico. Founded in 1996 by Adolfo Moreno and since Moreno's death in late 2007 has been controlled by his sons Alfredo and Marco Moreno. IWRG has its own championships but like many Mexican promotions recognize champions from other promotions, occasionally allowing them to defend those titles on IWRG shows. Trauma II (born December 12, 1982, in Mexico City, Mexico) is a Mexican ''luchador enmascarado'', or masked professional wrestler working on the Mexican independent circuit and as a freelance wrestler for promotions such as International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG), portraying a '' técnico'' ("Good guy") wrestling character. The ''EMLL Carnaval de Campeones'' (Spanish for the "EMLL Carnival of Champions") was a major professional wrestling event produced by Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre (EMLL) that took place on January 13, 1965, in EMLL's home arena Arena México in Mexico City, Mexico. As the name indicated most of the matches on the show, five out of six, featured a champion defending their championship against a chosen challenger. This was one of the few special, major shows promoted by EMLL outside of their annual EMLL Anniversary, Arena México Anniversary and Arena Coliseo Anniversary shows. Los Tortugas Ninjas
''Las Tortugas Ninja'' (Spanish for "The Ninja Turtles") is a Mexican ''lucha libre'' (professional wrestling) '' técnico'', those that portray the "good guys", group also known as a stable, currently working for International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG). The group was created in late 2014 when IWRG gave four of their wrestlers ring characters based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters. Initially the group consisted of Leo (based on Leonardo), Mike (Michelangelo), Rafy (Raphael) and Teelo (Donatello). In 2015 the wrestler who portrayed the "Leo" character was replaced and in 2018 Teelo left the group to form a rival faction known as ''Las Tortugas Negras'' ("The Black Turtles"; Teelo, Ra-Zhata, and Shil-Kah). Héctor Juan López Vieyra (born November 25, 1984) is a Mexican ''luchador'' (or professional wrestler) who is best known for his time with International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) under the ring name Canis Lupus. IWRG Intercontinental Tag Team Championship
The IWRG Intercontinental Tag Team Championship (''Campeonato Intercontinental de Parejas IWRG'' in Spanish) is a professional wrestling tag team championship promoted by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion International Wrestling Revolution Group (IWRG) since 2000. As it is a professional wrestling championship, the championship was not won not by actual competition, but by a scripted ending to a match determined by the bookers and match makers. On occasion the promotion declares a championship vacant, which means there is no champion at that point in time.
