Capital Centre (Abu Dhabi)
Capital Centre is a major mixed-use development currently under construction in Abu Dhabi. The development is taking place around the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre and consists of residential, commercial and hotel accommodation spread over 23 towers. The development is supplemented by the exhibition centre, Aloft Abu Dhabi Hotel and Capital Gate Tower. Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre
The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (commonly abbreviated ADNEC) is an exhibition centre in Abu Dhabi. It was opened by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates on February 18, 2007. It was designed by the international architecture firm, RMJM. The venue is the largest exhibition centre in the Middle East with a total space of 153,678m2 indoor and outdoor space. ADNEC has a large seating capacity in its several locations in the venue. This includes, 12 interconnected exhibition halls, an atrium , concourse space, a 6000 capacity ICC, two conference halls as well 21 meeting rooms. Capital Gate, also known as the Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi, is a skyscraper in Abu Dhabi that is over tall, 35 stories high, with over of usable office space. Capital Gate is one of the tallest buildings in the city and was designed to incline 18° west. The building is owned and was developed by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company.
