Canton Of Montauban-de-Bretagne
The Cantons of France, canton of Montauban-de-Bretagne is an administrative division of the Ille-et-Vilaine departments of France, department, in northwestern France. At the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015, it was expanded from 8 to 24 communes (4 of which were merged into the new communes La Chapelle-du-Lou-du-Lac and Montauban-de-Bretagne). Its seat is in Montauban-de-Bretagne. Montauban-de-Bretagne (, literally ''Montauban of Brittany''; , Gallo: ''Montauban'') is a commune in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in Brittany in northwestern France. On 1 January 2019, the former commune Saint-M'Hervon was merged into Montauban-de-Bretagne. 11 December 2018 The writer Jean Sulivan (1913–1980) was born in Montauban.
