The canton of Cheval-Blanc is an administrative division of the Vaucluse department, in southeastern France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Cheval-Blanc. Lourmarin
Lourmarin (; oc, Lormarin) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Its inhabitants are called ''Lourmarinois''. Geography Lourmarin is located in the French region of Provence, at the foot of the Luberon Massif where a southern pass debouches over the Luberon from Apt on the northern side of the Luberon. The pass divides the Grand Luberon from the Petit Luberon range, an area rich in Neolithic remains and noted for its dramatic massifs and rockscapes. The Aigues Brun brook comes out of the pass and runs just to the west of the village (''Aigue'' is a Provençal language word for "water", coming from Latin ''aqua''). History Lourmarin has been settled for at least a thousand years, and was probably a Neolithic campsite before that. Taillades
Taillades (; oc, Lei Talhadas) is a commune in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is east of Cavaillon, and south east of Avignon. Situated in the Luberon, the village covers 675 hectares of which 320 are mountainside. It has a population of about 1,900 inhabitants. The village was awarded the 'two flowers' standard in the national competition for floral villages. History The village developed as a community of stone workers employed at the quarries nearby. The entrance to the old village is marked by a medieval tower, a vestige of the original castle. The castle was rebuilt in the seventeenth century. In 1859, the village mill, Moulin Saint-Pierre, was built. Today it is used as a function room for the village. Cucuron
Cucuron () is a village (commune) in the Vaucluse department, of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, in southeastern France. Its inhabitants are called ''Cucuronnais''. Located on the south side of the Luberon mountain range, Cucuron is surrounded by slopes of grapevines and olive trees. There are several cooperatives in the village, including for wine and olive oil production. The present village dates from earlier than the 11th century and suffered a serious plague epidemic in 1720. Its primary features are a long pond (''l'étang'') that occupies its main square, the ruins of a medieval keep, and two churches.
