Canon PowerShot G3 X
The Canon PowerShot G3 X is a large sensor digital bridge camera announced by Canon on June 18, 2015. It marks Canon's entry into this product category, alongside competitors such as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ1000, Sony Cyber-shot RX10 and RX10 II. It has the longest focal length zoom range of any Powershot G-Series, from 24-600mm (35mm equivalent) with a maximum aperture of f/2.8 at widest, decreasing to f/5.6 at 600mm. In terms of overall specification it is the most capable of the current-production G-series cameras but this comes at the expense of overall size and weight - it is also the largest and heaviest of the series. In digital photography, the crop factor, format factor, or focal length multiplier of an image sensor format is the ratio of the dimensions of a camera's imaging area compared to a reference format; most often, this term is applied to digital cameras, relative to 35 mm film format as a reference.
