Canon EOS M3
The Canon EOS M3 is a digital mirrorless camera announced by Canon on February 6, 2015. Design Like its predecessor, the Canon EOS M2, the camera uses the Canon EF-M lens mount. However, the EOS M3 adds a number of new features, including a contoured grip, tilting LCD touchscreen, built-in pop-up flash and dedicated mode dial. Mirrorless Interchangeable Lens Camera
A mirrorless camera is a photo camera featuring a single, removable lens and a digital display. The camera does not have a reflex mirror or optical viewfinder like a digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera, but may have an electronic viewfinder. Advanced Photo System type-C (APS-C) is an image sensor format approximately equivalent in size to the Advanced Photo System film negative in its C ("Classic") format, of 25.1×16.7 mm, an aspect ratio of 3:2 and Ø 31.15 mm field diameter. The Canon EF-M lens mount, introduced in 2012, is a derivative of the Canon EF lens mount designed for use with the Canon EOS M mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera. DIGIC
Digital Imaging Integrated Circuit (often styled as "DiG!C") is Canon Inc.'s name for a family of signal processing and control units for digital cameras and camcorders. DIGIC units are used as image processors by Canon in its own digital imaging products. Several generations of DIGICs exist, and are distinguished by a version number suffix. Currently, DIGIC is implemented as an application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) designed to perform high speed signal processing as well as the control operations in the product in which it has been incorporated. Over its numerous generations, DIGIC has evolved from a system involving a number of discrete integrated circuits to a single chip system, many of which are based around the ARM instruction set. Canon EOS M6
The Canon EOS M6 is a digital mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera announced by Canon on February 14, 2017, and released in April 2017. As with all of the Canon EOS M series cameras, the M6 uses the Canon EF-M lens mount. The camera's screen can be articulated upwards, so that a vlogger can see themselves in the screen. The camera lacks a built-in viewfinder which makes it considerably cheaper than the M5; an additional viewfinder for ca. 200 euro can be mounted on the camera via the flash shoe. For sound, the camera has a 3.5 mm microphone connection, but no headphone port. A new model was introduced in September 2019, the Canon EOS M6 Mark II. Canon EOS M2
Canon EOS M2 is the second mirrorless interchangeable-lens camera produced by Canon. It was replaced by the Canon EOS M3 and Canon EOS M10 in 2015. Design Similar to its predecessor, the Canon EOS M, the EOS M2 uses the Canon EF-M lens mount, an 18 megapixel APS-C sensor and a DIGIC 5 image processor. The newer EOS M2 adds phase detection autofocus for improved autofocus speed, plus integrated Wi-Fi with support for wireless image transfer and remote control via a smartphone app. The camera has a 3-inch touchscreen with support for multi-touch gestures such as pinch to zoom, swiping and tapping.
