Mikel Canka (born 18 February 1987) is an Albanian professional footballer who plays as a striker for Lushnja in the Kategoria e Parë. Club career Canka left his hometown club Lushnja following their relegation from the Kategoria Superiore and signed a three-year contract with newly promoted side Apolonia on 10 June 2014. In 2015, during the winter transfer window, Canka left Apolonia after only half season to rejoin Lushnja until the end of 2014–15 season. In July 2015, Canka left Lushnja and signed a one-year contract with fellow Kategoria e Parë side Luftëtari. During the 2015–16 season, Canka played 25 league matches, scoring 15 goals, as Luftëtari won the Group B and achieved the promotion to Kategoria Superiore. Abramo Canka (born Abramo Penè; 18 March 2002) is an Italian college basketball player for the Wake Forest Demon Deacons of the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). He began his college career with one season with the UCLA Bruins, before transferring to Wake Forest. Early life and youth career Born in Genoa, Italy, to a Senegalese father and a Kosovo Albanian mother, Canka grew up playing basketball for Tigullio Sport Team Ligure. Līna Čanka was a Latvian Corporal of World War I and Latvian War of Independence. She was within the under the pseudonym of "Jānis Čanka" and was known as the first woman to be a recipient of the Order of Lāčplēsis, the highest military award of Latvia. Military career Līna Čanka was born on November 5, 1893 in a agricultural family of the farm "Mežziles" within the vicinity of the Renda Parish with 4 sisters and 1 brother.
