Andrew Cane
Andrew Cane ( fl. 1602–1650) — also Kayne, Kene, Keine, and other variants — was a comic actor in late Jacobean and Caroline era London. In his own generation he was a leading comedian and dancer, and one of the famous and popular performers of his time. Beginnings A child with the surname "Keane" (no Christian name recorded) was baptized on 2 March 1589; this might have been the actor/goldsmith. In 1602, Cane began a ten-year apprenticeship to his older brother Richard, who had finished his own apprenticeship and established himself as a goldsmith in 1600. The younger Cane won his "freedom" in the goldsmiths' guild in 1611. Cane married and began a family in 1612. Jigging clown Cane's stage career had begun by 1622, when he moved from Lady Elizabeth's Men (at the Cockpit) to the Palsgrave's Men (at the Fortune). Jordan Cane
Jordan Cane (born 23 May 2001) is a British former racing driver from West Sussex, England. Making his racing debut in the United States in 2015, Jordan was the youngest active Formula Car racer and was the youngest to score a point in the F1600 Championship Series. Jordan retired from racing in July 2018, citing budgetary concerns. Career Jordan Cane attended the Goodwood Festival of Speed where he became interested in motorsports and asked his father to help him make his way into the industry. From 2012 to 2014 Jordan was competitively karting. In Jordan’s first karting experience, at Thruxton Circuit, he broke the track record after just four sessions. Tina Cane
Tina Cane is an American poet and activist in Rhode Island. She is currently the Poet Laureate of Rhode Island; she was appointed in 2016 for a five-year term. Early life Cane was born in Hell's Kitchen, New York City, New York. She earned a bachelor's degree in art at the University of Vermont, studied at the University of Paris X-Nanterre and the Sorbonne University, and earned a master's degree in French literature from Middlebury College. Career After graduating, Cane was active in New York City's Teachers & Writers Collaborative. Cane moved to Rhode Island in 2005. She founded Writers in the Schools in 2010, and remains the organization's Executive Director. Cane became Poet Laureate in 2016. Scott Cane is an Australian archaeologist and anthropologist. He has lived long periods of time with the desert people of Australia, including some of the last hunter-gatherers.
