Candy Lane
Candy Michele Lane is a New Zealand dancer, choreographer and television presenter. She co-presented TVNZ's '' Dancing With The Stars'' with Jason Gunn, and also choreographed ''New Zealand's Got Talent'', ''The Singing Bee'', and ''Stars in Their Eyes''. Most recently she was the Head Judge of the 2015 series of '' Dancing With the Stars''. In August 2021, it was announced that she would feature in the 2021 Season of Celebrity Treasure Island 2021. She relocated to Australia in 2022 to be closer to her family. Dance career Performance Auckland-born Lane first represented New Zealand in dancing when she was 10 years old, and as a 14-year-old became the youngest person to win the New Zealand Amateur titles. Shopping Channel
Shopping channels (also known in British English as teleshopping) are a type of television program or specialty channel devoted to home shopping. Their formats typically feature live presentations and demonstrations of products, hosted by on-air presenters and other spokespeople who provide a sales pitch for the product. Variety Artists Club Of New Zealand
The Variety Artists Club of New Zealand Inc (VAC) is a non-for-profit organisation and show business club. It was founded in 1966 and became an incorporated society in 1972. The VAC was formed to promote goodwill within the New Zealand entertainment industry and foster a spirit of loyalty, friendship and cooperation between members. Each year the VAC presents a number of New Zealand entertainment awards including the prestigious Benny Award. Formation and history The Variety Artists Club of New Zealand Incorporated (VAC) was formed in 1966 with the name of The Variety Artists Convention. The Queen's Service Order, established by royal warrant of Queen Elizabeth II on 13 March 1975, is used to recognise "valuable voluntary service to the community or meritorious and faithful services to the Crown or similar services within the public sector, whether in elected or appointed office".
