The Canada U-23 men's national soccer team (also known as Canada Olympic soccer team) represents Canada in international soccer at this age level. The El Salvador national under-23 football team represents El Salvador in international football competitions during Olympic Games and Pan American Games. The team is controlled by the Salvadoran Football Federation. The selection is limited to players under the age of 23, except for three overage players. The 2012 CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying Championship was the thirteenth edition of the CONCACAF Men's Olympic Qualifying, the quadrennial, international, age-restricted football tournament organized by CONCACAF to determine which men's under-23 national teams from the North, Central America and Caribbean region qualify for the Olympic football tournament. It was held in the United States, from 22 March and 2 April 2012. Mexico won the tournament for the sixth time, following a 2–1 victory after extra time over Honduras.
