Can You Feel It (larry Heard Song)
"Can You Feel It" is a 1986 song by Mr. Fingers and one of the first deep house records. Its seminal impact on deep house has been compared to that of Derrick May's "Strings of Life" on Detroit techno. Production Larry Heard created "Can You Feel It" by using the Roland Juno-60 synthesizer and the Roland TR-909 drum machine. In a 2017 interview with ''Vice'', he recalled, "I had two cassette decks—there were no digital recorders or even multi-track recorders—and I did one take, one pass, on one tape, then ran it back to the other one, played some other parts by hand that I wanted to add, and that was pretty much the recording process." Fingers Inc. was an American music group from Chicago, Illinois. It consisted of producer Larry Heard and vocalists Robert Owens and Ron Wilson. AllMusic called it the "top early Chicago house group". History Fingers Inc. was formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1985 by producer Larry Heard and vocalists Robert Owens and Ron Wilson. In 1988, the group released a studio album, '' Another Side''. The group did not release the second studio album, in part because Owens relocated to New York City, New York. Robert Owens (born August 17, 1961) is an American songwriter, record producer, DJ and singer, best known for his work with the Chicago house group Fingers Inc. in the mid-1980s. Joey Beltram (born 6 September 1971) is an American DJ and music producer, best known for his pioneering singles "Energy Flash" and "Mentasm" and for remixing Human Resource (band), Human Resource's "Dominator (Human Resource song), Dominator". Nathaniel Pierre Jones, better known by his stage name DJ Pierre, is an American DJ and performer of house music based in Chicago.
